M2M VIP is a hybrid-hosted enterprise portal product that is completely integrated within Made2Manage ERP. The implementation process is quick and easy because Made2Manage provides the IT infrastructure for you—all you need is a Web browser and a persistent Internet connection to launch your own enterprise portal.


M2M VIP: Main Components

Customer Essentials

The Customer Essentials component helps you provide a new level of customer service and maximize your customer relationships via a convenient and secure place for your customers to access real-time information about their account, status of orders, and much more. Within Customer Essentials, your clients can:

  • Look up their order status information—including UPS tracking information.
  • Access invoice details.
  • Check available inventory.
  • Access specifications for each part number in a product catalog.
  • Create discussion threads for any shared document.
  • Access product-specific field service information.
  • Check the status of their account.
  • View the status of a quote.
  • Process a Return Materials Authorization (RMA).

Supplier Essentials

The Supplier Essentials component allows you to offer you key suppliers real-time visibility into your shop floor data, including RFQ statuses, invoices, and much more. As a result, you can keep the flow of materials and components provided by your vendors in alignment with your production priorities. Within Supplier Essentials, your suppliers can:

  • Respond to RFQs.
  • Track inventory part levels.
  • Access folders of specification drawings and respond with questions or comments in a discussion thread.
  • Check the status of a Purchase Order (PO).
  • View the detailed status of an invoice.

Transaction Center

The Transaction Center component provides a secure place for your customers and suppliers to submit RFQs, place orders, and conduct transactions via (what appears to be) your Web site. In the Transaction Center, your customers and suppliers can:

  • Access the Order Center, where they can add an item to an order, view previously saved orders, and see order templates (used for frequently ordered parts).
  • Begin a new Request for Quote (RFQ) or view saved quotes.
  • Explore the Document Repository, where they can collaborate easily by downloading documents for review.
